Charles Edward Wilbanks, 48, resident of the Ripley Community, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday October 18, 2017 at his residence.
  Funeral Services for Mr. Wilbanks will be at 2 PM Thursday October 26 at the Faith Fellowship Church in Ripley with Bro. Mark Wilbanks officiating assisted by church pastor, Bro. Warren Harrell. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Born July 17, 1969 in Osceola, AR, Mr. Wilbanks was the son of the late John Charles Wilson and Doris Wilbanks Barnes. He was a 1988 graduate of Manila High School in Manila, AR before moving to Tippah County 21 years ago.
  An avid conversationalist, those who knew Mr. Wilbanks will forever treasure his love for Facebook, X-Box and the outdoors which included fishing. He cherished his family and always looked forward to the holiday gatherings. His physical limitations did not hinder the joy and love of life he shared with all who knew and loved him.
  Visitation for Mr. Wilbanks will be Thursday from 9 AM until service at the church.
  Those left to honor his memory include two daughters, LouAnn Winkles (Dewayne) of Ripley and Misty May (Wayne) of Springfield, MO, two sons, Paul Lancaster of Springfield, MO and Jamie Holmes of Ripley, three sisters, Janie Winkles (Gregory) of Walnut, Patricia Winkles (William) of Ripley and Janet Foster (Henry) of Etowah, AR. nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
  Mr. Wilbanks was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tammy Trammel and Velda Winkles and a brother, Robert Wilson.
