David Eason Kizer

David E. "Lolliedog" Kizer, Falkner Community resident for sixteen years and supervisor for Ashley Furniture Co. died May 25, 2016. Services will be at 11 AM Saturday, May 28, at Souls Harbor Church in Walnut with visitation continuing two hours before services. Burial will be at 1 PM Saturday, May 28 in Glenfield Memorial Park at New Albany. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home. A native of Union County and a Christian, David will be remembered as an avid fisherman and known as "the life of the party." There was never a dull moment around "Lolliedog." David leaves his wife, Teresa Walker Kizer of Falkner; his children, Eason Kizer and Andrew Kizer, both of Falkner, David Kizer, Jr. of Beebe, AR, and Kyle Kizer of Batesville, AR,; his mother, Brenda Smithey Kizer of Myrtle; his sisters, Mossie Smith (Terry) of Ingomar, Karen Onsby (Dale) of Pontotoc and Samantha Reed (Craig) of New Albany; his brothers, Jerry Kizer (Fronie) of Pontotoc and Roy Jackson Kizer, Jr. of New Albany. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Jackson Kizer and two brothers, Andy and Rickey Kizer.
