 Delton Stanley "Del" Crutchfield, 68, resident of the Blue Mountain Community for 31 years and husband of Lori Greer Crutchfield, departed this life Friday morning June 24, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital at New Albany following an extended illness. A Service of Remembrance honoring the life of Del will be at 2 PM Sunday, June 26 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Blue Mountain Cemetery. A native of Natchez, MS, Del was a former resident of Memphis where he was employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Visitation will be Saturday, June 25 from 5 PM to 8 Pm and will continue Sunday from 12 noon until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home. An active member of the Blue Mountain Community, Del had coached little league baseball and served as a Cub Scout leader in past years He enjoyed NASCAR and outdoor activities that included fishing. In addition to his wife of 39 years, Del is survived by his children, Rebecca Harris (Casey) and Kevin Crutchfield (Kimberly) of Ripley and Sandra Bridges (Lonnie) of Drummonds, TN, his sister, Stephanie Wolf of Memphis, mother in law, Martha Greer of Falkner, his grandchildren Courtney Ward (Brad), Jackson, Kyson and Dauson Harris, Parker Reid Crutchfield,Clayton Bridges, his great grandchildren, Ava and Landon Ward, his sisters in law, Regina McKinney of Ripley, Lisa Larson of Cleveland, TN, Melanie McCullough (Billy) of Blue Springs and his brothers in law, Ronald Greer (Trish) of Olive Branch and Gary Greer( Tonda) of Blue Mountain. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Liz Crutchfield and Ola Mae Reddinger and a brother, Edward Crutchfield.
