Dorothy Graham Cappleman

 Dorothy Graham Cappleman, lifelong resident of the Falkner Community and wife of the late Billy Cappleman, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday evening, July 19, 2016. She was 86 years of age and died unexpectedly. Services remembering the life of Mrs. Cappleman will be at 11 AM Friday, July 22 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Falkner Cemetery.
  The daughter of the late Earl and Eda Carter Graham, Mrs. Cappleman was born in Tippah County on Oct. 13, 1929. She was a graduate of Falkner High School, a member of Falkner Baptist Church and was employed as a Supervisor for the Genesco Company for over 25 years before her retirement. A family oriented person who enjoyed the simple things of life, Mrs. Cappleman found much pleasure in sewing for friends, caring for her pets, flowers and gardening. She will be remembered for her cooking and sharing food with her neighbors and friends.
  Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM and will continue Friday at The Ripley Funeral Home until service time. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Vicki) Lancaster of New Albany and Randy (Pam) Lancaster of Ripley, 5 grandchildren, Amanda Kyle (Jay), Shea Camp (Chris), Cory (Ashley ) , Kelly (Jennifer) and Kurt (Ashley) Lancaster and 11 great grandchildren.
