Estil "Junior" Raymer

Junior Raymer, well-known resident of the Blue Mountain Community was born on September 19, 1953, the son of the late Estil and Verona Childs Raymer. He departed this early life for his heavenly home on December 30, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 63.
  Services celebrating the wonderful life of Junior will be at 1 PM Monday, January 2, 2017 at Flat Rock Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Buse, Bro. Mickey Trammel and Bro. Tommy Goode, officiating. Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Cemetery. The Ripley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
  Junior was a faithful member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. As a child, he loved to cook breakfast and play with his nieces and nephews. He loved gospel music, musical instruments, musicians and wrestling. He will be remembered for collecting pencils, TV Guides, comic books and playing Santa Claus at Christmas.
  Junior loved his family, loved people and made friends everywhere he went.
  Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Sunday, January 1 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home and will continue Monday from 11 AM until service time at Flat Rock Baptist Church.
  Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Estelle Gadd (Ganus) of Potts Camp, MS and Dot Jackson (Charles) of Hickory Flat, MS; 2 nephews: Tim Jackson (Michelle) of Auburn, AL; and Robert Cartwright of Blue Mountain, 3 nieces: Dana Sherrell of Knoxville, TN; Sharon Meeks (Clay) of Blue Mountain and Mitzi Cramer (Tim) of Ridgeland, SC; 10 first cousins: Danielle Sherrell, Madison Sherrell, Katie Wilkin (Kyle), Jacob Meeks, Jenna Mason (Brandon), Ben Cartwright, Jackson Cramer, Nicholas Cramer, Teddy Grace Jackson and Emma Presley Jackson; 5 second cousins: Jon-Tyler Newby, Swade Mason, EzaRae Mason, Alaina Meeks and Jace Cartwright.
  Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matt Brown, Christopher Cox, James Cox, Donald Files, Barry Goolsby, Scott Massengill, Donald Thompson and Johnny Winburn.
  Junior's family would like to acknowledge their deep appreciation to all of the Doctors, Nurses, Caregivers & Hospice Staff that shared their expressions of love, concern and kindness.
   Junior was a sweet man who has now gone to be with his sweet Jesus.....and we will miss him, but Junior is happy, happy, happy.
