Jimmy Don Huddleston

Jimmy Don Huddleston, 67, resident of the Falkner Community and retired landscaper, passed away Sunday evening May 5, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo following an illness of several months.
  A Service remembering the life of Mr. Huddleston will be at 11 AM Saturday May 11 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Elder Isaac Guess officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery near Ripley.
  Born June 29, 1951 in Ripley, he was the son of the late Charlie Wesley and Lillian Rogers Huddleston and received his education at Falkner High School. Mr. Huddleston was employed as a carpenter in earlier years and as a landscaper in the Tippah and Prentiss County area before his retirement.
  A Christian and lifelong resident of Tippah County, Mr. Huddleston will be remembered for his "Green Thumb" which included gardening and yardwork. He enjoyed coon hunting, his pet canines and his love of making homemade fudge and sharing it with others.
  Visitation will be Saturday from 10 AM to 11 AM at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Those left ot honor his memory include a son, Charles Wesley Huddleston of Falkner, one sister, Judy Huddleston of Falkner, five brothers, Charles Fulton Huddleston (Martha) of Shawnee, KS, Winston Wade Huddleston (Sue) of Falkner, Billy Joe Huddleston (Judy) of Germantown, TN, Danny Ray Huddleston (Sandi) of Cincinnati, OH and Ronnie Wesley Huddleston (Debbie) of Falkner.
  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerrell Conrad Huddleston and Aubrey Guy Huddleston and three nephews.

The family request that memorials be directed to Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 W. Main St., Tupelo, Ms 38801  or to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
