John Thomas Anderson, Jr.

John T. "Bubba" Anderson, Jr., 58, resident of the Falkner Community and former resident of Ripley, passed away peacefully Monday evening April 10, 2017 at his mother's residence in Falkner following a four month illness
  A visitation for family and friends will be from 2 PM to 4 PM Friday, April 14 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery near Walnut.
  Born July 18, 1958 in Memphis, TN, he is the son of Ruth Benson Anderson and the late John T. Anderson, Sr. Bubba received his education in the Memphis Public School System and moved to Tippah County with his family 33 years ago.
  A Christian, Bubba was preceded in death by his wife, the former Angie Crute who died in 2016. A familiar figure in the Ripley Community, Bubba was often seen walking his much loved dog "Precious" on Hwy 15 and throughout the community. Known as a private person, he and his constant companion enjoyed walking and making frequent visits to McDonalds and Wal-Mart.
  Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Ruth Benson Anderson of Falkner, his sisters, Rebecca Whitehead (Joe), Debra Simon (Roy) and Lisa Richerson (Anthony) all of Walnut and Rhonda Jackson (John) of Falkner, six nieces, five nephews, five great nieces and nephews and last but not least, his loyal dog, "Precious".
