Kimberly Kelsey Strickland

  Kimberly "Kimmi" Kelsey Strickland, 33, resident of Ashland for 15 years and wife of David Strickland, died Thursday April 21, 2016 at NMMC in Eupora following an extended illness. Funeral Services for Kimmi will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in The Ashland Cemetery. She was a dedicated homemaker throughout her life and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church at Ashland. Kimmi was a much loved wife, mother, daughter and sister who will be remembered for taking pride in her appearance and for her love for outdoor activities that included fishing, mud riding and nature. Visitation for Kimmi will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at The Ripley Funeral Home. In addition to her husband she leaves her children Kelsey Nicole Strickland and David Adam Strickland, II , her parents, Edward Junior Kelsey, Rita Jane Kelsey and step-father, Danny Walker, sisters, Krystal Renee Estes (Michael Luna) and Kayla Walker, and her brothers, Edward Kelsey, Jr (Elise) and Danny Wayne Walker, all of Ashland.
