Doug Hall, 62, Ripley Community resident, lifelong resident of Tippah County and retired head mechanic for Industrial Harvest Co. in Tupelo, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his residence.
  Services, with Military Honors, for Mr. Hall will be at 2 PM Friday, July 31 in the Heritage Chapel of The Ripley Funeral Home with visitation two hours before services. Interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Blue Mountain.
  A patriotic person and a Christian, Doug was an Air Force veteran serving for two tours during the Vietnam War.
  He liked to be known as a "shade-tree" mechanic and will be remembered as a family oriented person who enjoyed outdoor activities, fishing and caring for his pet dog 'Minnie".
  Mr. Hall leaves five daughters, Tammie Hall (JW) of Myrtle, Mary Hall (William) of New Albany, Brandy Edding (Brian) of Nashville, and April Hall (Dennis) and Amy Hall, both of Corinth, twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson.
  Our American Flag at the Ripley Funeral Home entrance honors Mr. Hall for serving his country.
