Nettie Sue Jean Brock

Nettie Sue Jean Brock, 75, resident of Tupelo for over 20 years and former Tippah Countian, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning March 6, 2019 at Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center in Tupelo following a brief illness.
  Funeral Services remembering the life of Miss Brock will be at 2 PM Monday March 11 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Tippah County.
  Miss Brock was born September 29, 1943 in Tippah County and was the daughter of the late James Vardaman and Dovie Mae Arnold Brock. In earlier years she received her education in the Kossuth School System in Alcorn County and continued her education in the Middleton School System in Hardeman County, Tennessee.
  A Christian, Miss Brock was employed as a seamstress in Tupelo manufacturing industries. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and the passion she possessed for all animals. Sewing, shopping with her family, writing poems and stories were favorite pasttimes.
  Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM Monday March 11 at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Survivors include two sisters, Mae Dunn of Walnut and Doris Barkley of Tiplersville, three brothers, James Brock of Ripley, Danny M. Brock of Walnut and Harold Brock (Joyce) of Tiplersville and a host of nieces and nephews.
  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sandy Brock and Evelyn Brock , one brother, James Arnold Brock.
