Ozella Wilbanks Pady, 80, native of Tippah County, resident of Glen and wife of William "Bill" Pady, Sr., died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth after receiving injuries in an automobile accident that occurred in Alcorn County earlier in the day. A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Pady will be Monday, Oct. 5 at New Covenant Christian Church in Falkner with a visitation at the church beginning at 4:30 PM Sunday, Oct. 4 The officiating ministers will be Bro.John Wilbanks, Bro. Jon Moraga and Br. Titus Mathis. The Ripley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
  An Inspiration for others and the matriarch of her family, Mrs. Pady was a devoted Christian and centered her life around faith and music. A guitarist and songwriter, her many interests included Facebook, texting and traveling.
Mrs. Pady received her education in the Chalybeate Community in Walnut and was an employee of the Wurlitzer Company before her retirement. She had been a resident of the Glen Community for the past 12 years and was a member of the Brand New Life Church in Corinth. Mrs. Pady had served as a Sunday School and an active member of the Women's Prayer Group of her church.
She is the mother of Sherry Jones, Rhonda Cheek, Michelle Gordon (Randy), Dale Curry all of Corinth, Tommy Curry, Marcus Curry (Donna), both of Tupelo and step-mother of Joelann Donahue (Jim) and Charlotte Newman both of TX and Billy Pady, Jr. (Misty), Elton Pady (Doris) and Mark Pady all of Corinth, 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Curry and step-daughter Gwendolyn Trammel, her sisters, Omittie Wilbanks and Doris Barnes, her brothers, O.T. Wilbanks and O.M. Wilbanks.
