Ramiro Rios Hernandez

Ramiro Rios Hernandez, 62, resident of the Ripley Community and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth after a brief illness.
  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 PM Monday September 26 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ripley with visitation at the church 30 minutes before services. Burial will be private.The Ripley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
  Born April 15, 1954 in Michoacan, Mexico, Mr. Hernandez was the son of the late Manuel and Celia Rios Hernandez. Moving to the United States in the 1980's, Mr. Hernandez settled in California and worked for Edelbrok Corporation for a number of years before his retirement. He became a resident of Tippah County in 2014 to be near his children and grandchildren. Mr. Hernandez was a lifelong Catholic and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working in his yard. Enjoying watching soccer and boxing on tv were favorite pastimes.
  Survivors include his wife, Maria E. Gallegos Rios, 3 daughters, Claudia Rios and Alexandra Rios, both of Ripley and Lorena Rios (Joe) of Chicago IL, a son, Ramiro Rios Henandez, Jr. of Ripley, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
