Rickey Eugene Burns

 Rickey Eugene Burns, 61, resident of the Able's Store Community and lifelong resident of Benton County, died of an apparent heart attack at his residence Friday September 23, 2016.
  Funeral Services for Rickey will be at the Graveside at 2 PM Wednesday, September 28 with Bro. Doc Shelton of Ripley, a family friend, officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Benton County with a visitation at the cemetery 30 minutes before services. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Rickey was born December 21, 1954, the son of the late Tommy Burns, Sr. and Clara Beatrice Mason Burns. He received his education in the Benton County Public School System and was a member of the Bain's Chapel Community Church near Ashland. Rickey will be remembered as a free spirited, independent person who enjoyed outdoor activities that included old trucks, cars and anything with motors. Listening to gospel music and being with his pet dogs and cats brought much pleasure to his life.
  He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Melma Burns Orman and a brother, Tommy Burns, Jr.
