Roy "Pete Joshlin" Howard

 Roy "Pete Joshlin" Howard, 59, resident of the Ripley Community and retired security guard for Capital Security in Jackson, MS, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.
  Services for Mr. Howard will be at 10am Friday, July 24th in the Heritage Chapel of The Ripley Funeral Home with burial at the New Harmony Cemetery in the Pine Grove Community.
  A native of Tippah County, Mr. Howard was a Methodist and a life-long resident of the Ripley and Pine Grove Communities. He enjoyed all kinds of animals that included cats ,dogs, roosters, ducks, and chickens. His special ever present "buddy" was his pet cat "Boo-Boo".
  Roy is survived by his companion, Jamie Joshlin, five sons, James Brown (Brandy) of Blue Mountain, Allen Wilbanks of Clifton, TN, Charles Howard of Jackson, TN, Roy Robertson and Samuel Howard of Walnut, one sister, Inette Nichols (Pee-Wee) of Ripley, four brothers, Kenny Joshlin, Charles Joshlin (Charlene), Glen Joshlin (Betty) all of Pine Grove Community and Terry Joshlin (Tracy) of Hornsby, TN and four grandchildren; and a special friend, Karissa Wolf. He was preceded in death by his paents, Curtis West and Mary Lee Howard and one son, James Howard.
