Ruth Ann Miller Riley

Ruth Ann Miller Riley, 69, resident of Ripley and former resident of Benton County departed this life Wednesday evening, February 21, 2018 at the Diversicare Health Care Center in Ripley following an extended illness. A service honoring the life of Ruth Ann will be at 4 PM Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Church of Christ Cemetery at Ashland.
   A native of North Carolina, Ruth Ann moved to Mississippi at an early age and received her education at the Byhalia Mississippi High School and the Northwest School of Cosmetology. A Baptist and a homemaker in later years, Ruth Ann will be remembered as a vibrant, adventuresome person with an outgoing personality. Her interest were many and included animals, motorcycles, sewing and outdoor activities.
   A visitation for family and friends will be 1 hour before services today at the Ripley Funeral Home.
   She leaves two daughters, Maryann Corliss (Donnie) of Monassas, VA and Krystal Kubichek of Philadelphia, PA; two sons, Scott Miller (Kelly) of Falkner, MS and Chris Houck of Nesbit, MS; 8 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
   She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Riley and a brother, Johnny Miller.
