Sampson Scott "Sam" Jackson

Sampson Scott "Sam" Jackson, 57, resident of the Ripley Community, passed away Saturday morning July 1, 2017 at his brother's residence in Ripley following an extended illness.
  At the request of Mr. Jackson, services and interment will be private. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Born December 8, 1959 in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the late James Columbus and Theresa Wren Jackson. Sam was a graduate of Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, SC and was employed as an Electrician in South Carolina and Mississippi for much of his life. Before his illness he served as an electrician during the construction of the military hanger at the Tupelo airport.
  A Christian, Sam is survivored by his daughter, Erin Conlee (Tracy) of Pontotoc, two brothers, Cary Jackson of Ripley and J.R. Morris (Susan) of Moncks Corner, SC. a grandson, Ethan Conlee of Pontotoc and a special friend and caregiver, Deborah Truitt of Ripley.
