William Carl "Carl" Perkins

William Carl Perkins , 47,lifelong resident of the Walnut and Corinth areas, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at the residence of his mother in Corinth following an illness of several weeks. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Monday Nov. 16 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in the Tiplersville Cemetery.
  A visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM Monday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Mr. Perkins was an independent painting contractor in Tippah & Alcorn Countiesfor most of his life and had served as a minister at Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland.Carl attended Walnut High School and continued his education at Blue Mountain College. He will be remembered as a Bible Scholar with a love for Faith, Family & Ole Miss Football.
  Carl is survived by his father, William Earl Perkins of Falkner, his mother Diane Dollar Perkins of Corinth, his sisters, Misty Wilbanks (Phillip) and Angel Perkins, both of Walnut, his brothers, Robbie Perkins (Carrie Jean) of Walnut and Anthony Perkins of Lynn Haven, FL, 4 nieces, 5 nephews and his closest friend, Denny Gladney of Corinth.
