Margarett Rodgers Todd

On March 17, 2024, Margarett Rodgers Todd, 92, resident of Walnut, passed away peacefully at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth.

Visitation for Mrs. Todd will be from 4 PM to 5 PM Wednesday, March 20 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Walnut. Funeral Services will be at 5 PM with Bro. Randy Smith and Bro. Rick Ciswoski officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Born April 2, 1931, in Memphis, TN, Mrs. Todd is the daughter of the late Joseph and Birtha Blanch Best Rodgers. She was a graduate of Memphis Catholic School and was owner of Todd's Grocery and Gas for 13 years. A member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Mrs. Todd will be remembered for her love of roses and tending to her rose garden where she had over 100 plants. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, music and making ceramics with her son Chris.

Memories will continue to be shared by her daughter, Christina Lence and one son, Chris Todd, both of Walnut. She was also preceded in death by her husband, O.L. Todd, three sisters and four brothers.
