Rangildas Patel

RangiLdas D. Patel, 83, resident of Tippah County, passed away peacefully October 3, 2022 at his home in Ripley.  Services honoring the life of Mr. Patel will begin at 9 AM Thursday, October 6 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM Wednesday, October 5 at The Ripley Funeral Home.

Mr. Patel was born March 31, 1939 in Bagumara, India, the son of the late Dahyabhai and Laxmiben Patel. He received his education in his hometown of Bagumara where he also served as a lawyer, town mayor and was employed in the agriculture industry.  In 2005, Mr. Patel moved with his family to Tippah County and enjoyed singing, conversations, storytelling and watching wrestling on television. He will be remembered as a wise man who will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Hansaben Patel, a daughter, Manisha J. Patel, two sons, Prakashkumar Patel and Kirankumar Patel, two sisters, three brothers and four grandchildren.
