Services honoring the life of Mrs. Price will be at 2 PM Monday June 19 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with reflections and memories given by Stan Kuykendall. Visitation will be one hour before services and burial will follow at Enterprise Cemetery in Union County. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
Born October 12, 1939 in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Betty Davis Frazier. She was a former resident of the Pleasant Ridge Community in Union County and had been a resident of the Ripley Community for the past six years.
A Baptist by faith, Mrs. Price received her education in the Union County Public School System. She was married on December 1, 2001 to Gerald Price, employee of the DVS Corporation in New Albany who survives.
Mrs. Price will be remembered for the love of outdoors that included camping, fishing, flowers and yard-sales.
Survivors also include her son, Steve Carwyle of Ripley, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and a special friend and sister in law, Carolyn Browning of New Albany.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends. The Family expresses grateful appreciation to Diversicare Healthcare Center and to SouthernCare Hospice of New Albany for their loving care and concern.
