Berenice Clemmer Obituary

 After 97 beautiful years, our loving sister, aunt and friend, Berenice Stephens Clemmer departed this life Thursday morning November 29, 2018 at Tippah County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Clemmer will be at 2 PM Saturday December 1 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Bonds officating. Graveside Services will be at 2 PM Monday December 3 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.
  Born March 31, 1921 in Tippah County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Grady and Gertrude Anderson Stephens. Mrs. Clemmer was a graduate of Buena Vista School in Tippah County and was married to her beloved husband Waymon Clemmer, retired teacher and chemical company representative, who preceded in death on January 30, 1978.
  A member of Blue Mountain United Methodist Church, Mrs. Clemmer was a homemaker throughout her life. In earlier years she was a member of several organizations including City Beautiful, United Methodist Women and Homemakers. She will be remembered for her love of her family, her church, and her flowers. She will be missed by all those who had the privilege to know her.
  Visitation will be Saturday from 1 PM to 2 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Those left to honor her memory include her 101 year old sister, Christine Moore of Raymond, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
  She also was preceded in death by one sister, Louise White and three brothers, Wallace, Elwood and H.G. Stephens.
