Billy Ray Mullins Obituary

 On Monday morning February 25, 2019, Billy Ray Mullins, 67, resident of Walnut, passed away at the Adamsville Health Center in Adamsville , Tennessee following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Mullins will be at 2 PM Wednesday February 27 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Lindley and Bro. Rob Glidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alcorn County.
  Mr. Mullins was born July 18, 1951 in Pocahontas, TN and was the son of the late Charlie Robert and Gladys Hodum Mullins. He received his education in the Walnut School System and was employed with the Woodcraft Corporation in Tippah County until his retirement.
  A Christian, Mr. Mullins was a lifelong resident of the Tippah and Alcorn County areas. He will be remembered by many as a "good hearted " person helping both family and friends in the community. Mr. Mullins was an outdoorsman throughout his life and enjoyed hunting and fishing as long as health permitted.
  Visitation will continue Wednesday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Mr. Mullins is survived by one brother, Marshall Mullins (Annette) of Walnut, three sisters in law, Ann Spence of Savannah, TN, Nona Mae Mullins and Annice Mullins, both of Corinth and a host of nieces and nephews.
  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Ilene Mullins and four brothers, Marlin, Tommy, J.Z. and Mitchell Mullins.
