Bruce Alan Kinchen

Bruce Alan Kinchen, 63, resident of Guntown and retired computer programmer, passed away Saturday June 16, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Bruce will be at 3 PM Wednesday June 20 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. Reflections will be given by his brother in law, Rick Carman of Knoxville, TN. Bruce enjoyed music by The Beatles and these selections will be included in the service. Burial will follow in Jacobs Chapel Cemetery near Ripley.
  Born October 15, 1954 in Henderson, TN, Bruce is the son of Betty Tucker of Memphis and the late Royce Kinchen. He was a graduate of Treadwell High School in Memphis and continued his education in Memphis by excelling in computer science.
   On May 4, 1985 he married his beloved wife, Debrena "Sissie" Carman of Memphis. A native of Memphis, Bruce moved with his family to Tupelo twenty-five years ago and was employed as a computer programmer for BancorpSouth until his retirement.
   Bruce was a history buff and enjoyed camping but mostly loved spending time with his family.  He will be remembered for his love of Mustangs, anything Ford and working on cars and Jeeps.
  Visitation for Bruce will be Wednesday from 1 PM to 3 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  In addition to his wife of 33 years, he is survived by a son, Shawn Bond of Memphis, TN, a daughter Shannon "Nikkie" Smith (Adam) of Nashville, TN, three sisters, Donna Whigham (Roger), Pam McNatt both of Memphis and Patsy Vine (Sam) of Sparta, TN, two grandchildren, Ashton Morris, Coby Day and his loyal canine, "Biscuit".
