Clifford Andrew Vandygriff, 65, resident of the Dumas Community and loving husband, brother, "Bobpaw" and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday November 11, 2018 in the comfort of his home following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Clifford will be at 1 PM Wednesday November 14 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with his nephew, Bro. Steven Thomas officiating. Personal Reflections will be given by long time family friend, Bro. Doc Shelton.
  Born January 2, 1953 in Dumas, he was the youngest born to the late Herman and Ora Greer Vandygriff. Clifford received his education in the Jumpertown School System and was married December 10, 1971 to his beloved wife, Tressie Harrison Vandygriff who survives.
  A Christian and lifetime resident of the Tippah/ Union County areas, Clifford was employed by various companies including Oil-Dri Corporation before his retirement.
  An avid outdoorsman, Clifford enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting with dove hunting as a favorite. A family oriented person who cherished being "Bobpaw", he will be remembered for his love of music and playing the guitar.
  Visitation will continue Wednesday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by three sisters, Louise Thomas (Miles), Mary Ann Robinson and Dorthy Fryar all of Ripley, one brother, Charles Vandygriff of Ripley, nephew, Dewayne Vandygriff (Mercedes) of Ripley, four honorary grandchildren, Rylan and Stella Vandygriff, Haley Cave and Jacey Duncan and a host of family and friends.
  He was also preceded in death by a son, Clifton "Scooter" Vandygriff, one sister, Hermie Lee Plaxico and one brother, Walter Vandygriff.
