Danny Ellis Walker

Danny Ellis Walker, 49, resident of Ashland and self employed carpenter, died Tuesday Morning December 11, 2018 as the result of a vehicle accident in Benton County.
   Funeral Services remembering the life of Danny will be at 2 PM Monday December 17 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Don Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Family Cemetery located near Dumas.
   Danny was born October 12, 1969 in the Brownfield Community on the Tippah and Hardeman County line, the son of Mary Edith Patterson Walker and the late Ellis Wayne Walker. He received his education in the Haywood County Tennessee School System and was married for 21 years to the former Rita Pierce, who survives.
   A Christian, Danny loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed music and the outdoors that included hunting and fishing. A "country boy at heart", Danny loved the rural way of life and had a passion for farming. He was employed for much of his life by various farm operations in the area.
   Danny will be remembered for his love of family, friends and his devotion to his mom and dad. Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
   Survivors also include two daughters, Kayla Walker and Krystal Luna both of Ashland, two sons, Danny Wayne Walker and Edward Kelsey (Elise), both of Ashland, four sisters, Edith Ann Sensabaugh (David) of Brownville, TN, Melissa Pleasants (Ronnie) of Moscow, TN, Vicky McDivitt of Ashland and Deborah Jones (Randalls) of Nashville, TN, two brothers, Jimmy Walker of Ashland and Von Swift of Fishers, IN and eight grandchildren.
   He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Kimberly Strickland and Krystina Tomlinson, a sister, Linda Hayes and two grandchildren.
