Floyd Dean "Butch" Beck, Jr.

  Floyd Dean "Butch" Beck, Jr., 60, resident of Ripley Community, died unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday November 28, 2017 at his residence.
  Family and friends gathered in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home Thursday evening November 30 from 5 PM to 8 PM to honor Butch. As Butch's request, burial will be private.
  Born December 24, 1956 in Iowa, Butch was the son of the late Floyd, Sr. and Margaret Davis Beck. He received his education in the Iowa Public School System and was employed as a Forklift Operator with the Dirt Cheap Company in Blue Mountain at the time of his death.
  Butch had been a resident of Tippah County for the past ten years and will be remembered for his love of fishing, the outdoors and watching western movies on television.
  Survivors include his companion, Tammy Otts and her children, Sophelia , Jessica and Matthew Otts, all of Ripley.
