Frank Kirk Dlugach, 58, resident of Pocahontas, TN and beloved dad, brother, uncle and friend, died Saturday morning August 11, 2018 at Region One Medical Center in Memphis following a one vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday, August 7th.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Frank will be at 4 PM Friday August 17 at the Oak Grove Methodist Church near Pocahontas, TN with Bro. Terrell Gatewood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
Born December 23, 1959 in Memphis, he was the son of the late David and Wilma Sue Herd Dlugach. Frank received his education in the Sheffield City School in Memphis and was a member of Essary Springs Baptist Church. He was employed as a plumber for companies in Memphis that included Advance Plumbing and Bus & Sons Plumbing.
An avid outdoorsman, Frank's love for fishing and working on the family farm began at an early age and continued until his death. He will be remembered by many from "Frank's Produce" where he sold vegetables and Christmas Trees at the Agri-Center in Memphis.
Those who knew Frank best will treasure his abundant kindness, his generosity for those less fortunate and his love for his family.
Visitation for Frank will be from 3 PM to 4 PM Friday at Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Megan Lomonaco (Ricky) of Nesbit, MS, a sister, Debbie Pearson (Duane Watkins), a brother, David Lewis Dlugach, both of Pocahontas, TN, a grandson, Austin George, his nieces and nephews, Brandylynn Bristow, Sherry Kiser, Alan and Joey Pearson and his loyal pet canine, "Willie".
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Morris Dlugach.
