Georgia Doyal Watson Obituary

Georgia Doyal Watson, 95. resident of the Walnut Community, passed away Friday March 29, 2019 at her grandson's residence following an extended illness.
  Services remembering the life of Mrs. Watson will be at 2 PM Thursday April 11 at County Line Baptist Church near Walnut with a visitation 30 minutes prior to service. Bro. David Shepherd will officiate and a private family burial will be at a later date.. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Mrs. Watson was born July 17, 1923 in Rome, GA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Addie J. Byrd Doyal.
  A Christian and homemaker throughout her life, Mrs. Watson will be remembered for her love of the outdoors that included flowers and gardening until the age of 93. Crocheting and quilting were pasttime favorites.
  Survivors include two daughters, Ann Lane of Walnut and Carolyn Wilds of Wilmington, DE , three sisters, two brothers and a host of grandchildren.
  She was also preceded by a son, Ronald Lane, three sisters and one brother.
