Herman Pierce Cutberth, 76, resident of Middleton, TN and retired equipment operator, passed away Saturday morning July 28, 2018 in the comfort of his daughter's home in Forest, MS following an extended illness.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Cutberth will be at 11 AM Monday July 30 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Porterfield, pastor of Jesus Name Community Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Jesus Name Community Cemetery near Walnut.
Born March 4, 1942 in Middleton, TN, he was the son of the late Claude Samson and Mary Addie Akin Cutberth. He received his education in the Middleton Public School System and was married February 28, 1981 to the former Carolyn Jean Wilbanks who survives.
A Christian, Mr. Cutberth had a strong work ethic and was a valued employee in the construction industry that included Eutaw Construction, Hill Brothers Construction, CN Construction and Ford Construction until his retirement. Friends and family will remember Mr. Cutberth for his love of tractors and farming, with a passion for cattle farming.
Visitation will continue Monday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
Those also left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Jennifer Bradshaw (Jason) of Forest, MS, two sons, David Cutberth of Walnut and Brian Cutberth of Memphis, TN, five grandchildren, Morgann, Noah and Jonah Fisher, Bodee and Hudson Cutberth, a special caregiver, Barbara Wilkerson and a host of family and friends.
