  Howard Benjamin Abrams, Sr., resident of the Falkner Community and beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Saturday evening October 21, 2017 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was 57 years old and died following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Abrams will be at 3 PM Wednesday October 25 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with his pastor, Bro. Brad Crump officiating. A Visitation for family and friends will continue Wednesday from 1 PM until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  A native of West Islip, New York, Mr. Abrams was born April 10, 1960, the son of Dolores Plusch Abrams and the late Harry Abrams. He received his education in the New York Public School System and was married June 29, 1980 to the former Brenda Lynn Klug, a valued employee of CB&S Bank in Ripley, who survives.
  Mr. Abrams was an Independent long distance truck operator for much of his life before his retirement. He was a resident of Collierville, TN before moving with his family to Tippah County 20 years ago where he enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of a small community. A member of Heartsong Church in Ripley, Mr. Abrams will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and fishing. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants. The love for his family was enduring and enjoyed every opportunity that he shared with them.
  In addition to his devoted wife of 37 years, he leaves his mother, Dolores Abrams of Brookhaven, NY, his children, Taralynn Craig (Carl) of Arlington, TN, Beth March (Cedric) and Howard Abrams, Jr. (Ashley) both of Falkner, a sister, Laura Abrams, of Arlington, TN, a brother, Mark Abrams of Brookhaven, NY seven grandchildren, Zaida and Ally March, Kylie Clubb, Matthew Ratliff, Robert Cole Craig, Howard Abrams, III and Colton Abrams.
  The family request that memorials be directed to Heartsong Church, 14340 Hwy 15 N, Ripley, MS 38663.
