James Stevie Ellis

James Stevie Ellis, 54, resident of the Ripley Community, lifelong Tippah Countian and former employee of Ashley Corporation, passed away Tuesday September 11, 2018 at his daughter's residence in Corinth.
  A Service of Remembrance for Stevie will be at 2 PM Friday September 14 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with private burial in Antioch Cemetery. Longtime friend, Bro. Perry Reed of Ripley, will officiate.
  Born July 14, 1964 in Ripley, Stevie received his education at Ripley High School.
  A family oriented person and a Christian, Stevie enjoyed deer and bow hunting, suspenseful movies and watching Sunday NASCAR races.
  Visitation for Stevie will be one hour before services Friday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Survivors include his daughter, Dawn Shea (Timothy) of Corinth, five grandchildren, Gage Goodson, Hayden, Parker, Jaxon and Daiya Shea, one sister, Tammy Jackson of Iuka and his companion, Linda Bryant of Ripley.
  He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Martin and Ora Faye Rutherford Ellis and a brother, Greg Ellis.
