 Jesse Collin Taplin, resident of the Ripley Community and employee of Papa John's Pizza in Memphis, died Saturday October 21, 2017 of injuries received in a vehicle accident on Hwy 15 North of Ripley. He was 30 years old and was returning home from his place of employment at the time of his death.
  Funeral Services for Jesse will be at 11 AM Wednesday October 25 at Ole Enon Primitive Baptist Church near Middleton with church pastor, Bro. James Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in The Blue Mountain Cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  A native of Fairbanks, Alaska, Jesse was born November 17, 1986, the son of Judith Medlin Fuselier and the late Clay Dennen Taplin. He moved with his family at the age of five to Tippah County where he attended school and was a 2006 graduate of Walnut High School.
  Jesse attended Ole Enon Primitive Baptist Church in Middleton and will be remembered as a loving son and devoted father. An artistic person, he enjoyed sharing his time and talents with his infant son during his son's lengthy illness. A sports fan, Jesse enjoyed football and basketball and was a member of the Walnut Wildcat Football Team during his high school years.
  A visitation for Jesse will be from 9 AM until 11 AM Wednesday at Ole Enon Baptist Church.
  He is survived by his devoted fiancee, Jennifer Rawson of Ripley, a twin son, David Allan Taplin of Ripley, his mother, Judity Fuselier (Cecil Wammack) of Walnut, three brothers, Charles Fuselier of Las Vegas, NV, Shane and Benny Wayne Fuselier, Jr both of Anchorage, AK and maternal grandparents, David and Cathy Medlin of Walnut and Mary Souders of Ripley.
  Jesse was also preceded in death by his twin son, Dereck Collin Taplin and step-father, Benny Fuselier, Sr.
  The family request that memorials be directed to Ole Enon Baptist Church, 440 Ole Enon Rd., Middleton, TN 38052.
