Lavonne Pecha Gaillard

 Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Lavonne Pecha Gaillard, 81, resident of Ripley, passed away peacefully Thursday morning September 13, 2018 at the Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services cherishing the life of Mrs. Gaillard will be at 3 PM Sunday September 16 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Weirs Chapel Cemetery near Ripley.
  Mrs. Gaillard was born March 17, 1937 in Spooner, Wisconsin and was one of fourteen children born to the late James and Irene Pecha. Mrs. Gaillard received her education in the Wisconsin Public School System and was married to the late Luther Marlin Gaillard, United States World War II Veteran who preceded her in death on October 15, 1982.
  A Christian, Mrs. Gaillard loved the outdoors and had a passion for gardening. She was a homemaker throughout her life and had a wonderful talent for home cooking that brought her family together with memories to share. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be remembered for her unwavering love and loyalty to them. Mrs. Gaillard's gentle spirit leaves a legacy that her family and friends will always treasure.
  Visitation will be from 2 PM to 3 PM Sunday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Those left to honor her memory include two sons, James Gaillard (Lorie) of Chalybeate and Mark Gaillard of Ripley, five grandchildren, Lucas, Ben and Hannah Gaillard, Sydney Wilbanks and Gage Strickland, three sisters, Janet Snell (Carl) and Jane Jester of Spooner WI,and Shelia Finn of Kenosha, WI and five brothers, Ronald Pecha of Spooner, WI, Raymond Pecha of Rice Lake, WI, James Pecha of Trever, WI and Thomas Pecha and Richard Pecha both of Kenosha, WI.
  She was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
