Michael Ray Ketchum

Michael Ray "Mike" Ketchum, 57, resident of Memphis with family roots in Tippah County, passed away Thursday evening October 4, 2018 at Methodist Healthcare in Memphis.
  Funeral Services for Mike will be Monday October 8 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Hurt of Mt. View Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Little Hope Cemetery near Falkner.
  Born November 6, 1960 in Memphis, he was the son of the late J.T. Ketchum, Jr. and Maggie Bryant Ketchum of Ripley. Mike was a graduate of Sheffield High School in Memphis and continued his education in drafting at State Tech.
  A Baptist by faith, Michael was a self-employed draftsman and worked with companies in the Memphis and surrounding areas. He will be remembered as a private person who lived quietly and peacefully. Collecting antiques was a favorite pasttime. His life will be remembered for the joy he brought to others and his passing creates a void that will be felt by many.
  Visitation will be from 12 PM to 2 PM Monday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Survivors include a brother, Jimmy Ketchum (Debbie) of Nesbit, two sisters, Peggy Henry of Batesville and Gail Moody of Bellflower, CA and a host of nieces and nephews.
