My sweet Wanda there are no words to express how very sorry I am for your loss. I didn't know Natalie very well but every time I saw her she flashed that radiant smile and had something sweet to say. My thoughts have been with you and will continue to be. Love you my sweet friend.

I want to express my deepest sympathies for the loss of Natalie. I met her when we worked together at Timber Hills. She was absolutely a bright shining light to everyone around her. She had been through alot, but had the most positive attitude and sweet spirit about her. I know that Jesus welcomed her saying well done, good and faithful servant. Praying for you all in the days to come.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one, Natalie. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much, especially when they are as young as Natalie. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon death will be forever swallowed up. (Isaiah 25:8). He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our loved ones to life again. (John 6:40). I hope your beautiful memories of Natalie and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come
With deepest sympathy,
Carolyn

The last time Natalie and I talked on the phone, we talked about how God doesn't really ask for our opinion on things and He probably doesn't like it when we tell Him our preferences in the matter. Well, I made sure I let Him know I was not too happy with His decision to take my friend from me. At that moment, in my heart, I heard that all too familiar raspy laugh and I was at peace. He didn't take her from me, He took her home. A place I too will be one day. I'm still sad. I will still miss our conversations, but I know that we will see each other again. When I see her again, she will be completely healed. I don't have to worry about her anymore. I'll never have the answer to my why. But, I do know my Who. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:3-5.

I found this poem that made me think of Sweet Natalie.

The Tiny Rosebud God Picked to Bloom in Heaven
By Helen Steiner Rice

The Master Gardener from heaven above
Planted a seed in the garden of love,
And from it there grew a rosebud small
That never had time to open at all.
For God in his perfect and all-wise way
Chose this rose for His heavenly bouquet,
And great was the joy of this tiny rose
To be the one our Father chose
To leave earth’s garden
For one on high where roses bloom always
And never die.
So, while you can’t see your precious rose bloom,
You know the great Gardener from the upper room
Is watching and tending this wee rose with care,
Tenderly touching each petal so fair.
So think of your darling with the angels above,
Secure and contented and surrounded by love,
And remember God blessed and enriched your lives, too
For in dying your darling brought heaven closer to you.

Love and prayers sent your way.

Natalie was such a joy and a blessing to all who knew her. Her smile could light up a room. She had a great sense of humor and could always brighten my day. She loved the Lord and the only thing that makes my heart break a little less is knowing that she is with Him now and I will see hear again some day.
