Although I didn’t know Nettie, I send my deepest condolences to the family. Times like this are certainly tough but there is something that comforts me when I lose a loved one. The Bible gives me comfort at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. I hope this is able to give you some comfort now. Also Revelation 21:4 is a scripture that gives me hope for the future.

Heaven has gained a precious angel..It’s difficult to think of attending Oakland Baptist Church without the physical presence of Miss Nettie and especially a Homecoming Dinner without that one of a kind caramel cake ..Our prayers are with the family..with love, Tommie Melton Grant & Teresa Grant

We were so sad to hear the news about Nettie. We have so many, many, many fond memories of her, especially her scrumptious, delicious, amazing yeast rolls. Nettie kept Halle when she was a baby for us while we went on a trip to Europe. Nettie was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever know, always, always, always had a smile. We are sending our love to all the family and friends of this very special lady.
