Peggy Lynn Vuncannon Miracle

Peggy Vuncannon Miracle, resident of the Chapman Community, accomplished artist and beloved wife of Billy Ray Miracle, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Friday January 12, 2018. She was 60 years of age and died following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Peggy will be at 2 PM Friday January 19 in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with her cousin, Bro. Terry Ray Vuncannon officiating. Burial will follow in Chapman Cemetery near Ripley.
  Born August 27, 1957 in Ripley, Peggy was the daughter of Bessie Reeves Vuncannon of Ripley and the late Aron Wayne Vuncannon. She was a 1976 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a lifelong Tippah Countian. Peggy was married July 5, 1997 to Billy Ray Miracle, who survives.
  A homemaker throughout her life, Peggy was employed in earlier years by various manufacturing companies in Tippah County. A Christian and a family oriented person, Peggy will be remembered as a self taught artist who expressed her love of nature with her beautiful artwork depicting flowers, birds and earth's natural beauty. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
  Visitation for Peggy will be from 10 AM until 2 PM Friday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  In addition to her husband of 20 years, Peggy is survived by her mother, Bessie Reeves Vuncannon, her children, Mandy Koon (Brad), Dusty Turner, Tiffany Rizor (Derik) and Coby Miracle, all of Ripley, Marlana Bowen (Dempsey) of New Albany and Carrie Carpenter (Steven) of Booneville, a sister, Susan Rutherford (Petey) of Falkner, a brother, Randy Vuncannon of Ripley, twenty three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Diane Holmes.
