Regina Marie Greer McKinney

Regina Greer McKinney, a resident of the Ripley Community and wife of the late Donald McKinney , Sr., departed this life on Sunday December 31, 2017 at her home in Ripley. She was 59 years of age and died unexpectedly of natural causes.
  A Funeral Service honoring the life of Regina will be at 2 PM Thursday January 4 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. The officiating ministers will be Bro. Titus Mathis and Bro. Clay Pritchett. Burial will follow in the Little Hope Cemetery near Falkner. Arrangement will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  A native of Memphis, TN, Regina was born September 4, 1958, the daughter of Martha Pittman Greer of Falkner and the late Roy Edward Greer. She was a graduate of Trezevant High School in Memphis and had been a resident of Tippah County for the past 30 years.
  A Christian and a homemaker, Regina was devoted to her family with a special love for her grandchildren. Reading and family gatherings were pleasures she looked forward to. Regina also enjoyed television sports and was a loyal fan of the Pittsburg Steelers Football Team.
  In addition to her mother, Regina is survived by a daughter, Amy Flake of Ripley, two sons, Ryan McKinney (Danielle) and Donnie McKinney, Jr., both of Ripley, three sisters, Lori Crutchfield of Blue Mountain, Lisa Larson of Cleveland, TN and Melanie McCullough (Billy) of Blue Springs, two brothers, Ronald Greer (Trish) of Olive Branch and Gary Greer (Tonda) of Blue Mountain and six grandchildren, Skylar and Sydney Flake, Adyn, Mariah, Montana and Karlie McKinney.
  She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Carson McKinney and a brother in law, Delton Crutchfield.
