Sherry Carter Drewery

 Sherry Carter Drewery, 59, resident of Falkner and beloved wife of Douglas Drewery, passed away Friday afternoon August 24, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth following an extended illness.
  A private family service and interment is planned. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Born November 23, 1958 in McMinnville, Oregon, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Ruth Davis Carter.
  Sherry was a 1977 graduate of Chelsea High School in Chelsea, Oklahoma and was married May 23, 1989 to her devoted husband Marshall Douglas Drewery, Jr. , proud United States Army Veteran and retired State of MS water operator, who survives. She was employed as an assistant manager at Wal-Mart in Ripley for over 10 years before her retirement in 2012.
  A Christian, Sherry loved the outdoors that included fishing, camping and vegetable gardening. She found much pleasure watching Sunday NASCAR races on television with her favorite driver, #24 Jeff Gordon.
  Sherry will be remembered for her dedication to family and the lives she touched as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
  In addition to her husband of 29 years, she leaves three daughters, Kimberly Kitchens (Harry) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Jenny Sager (Lindy) of Edmond, OK and Jamie Czapansky (Jeramy) of Chelsea, OK, one son, Marshall Dustin "Dusty" Drewery (Kristy) of Falkner, four sisters, two brothers and seven grandchildren.
  She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
