Obituary
Alan Scott Brady, 58, resident of Ripley, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at his home. Funeral Services remembering the life of Alan will be at 2 PM Wednesday, May 24 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with visitation from 10 AM to 2 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home. Bro. Bradley "Bubba" Hancock and Bro. Taylor Garner will officiate and burial will follow at Unity Cemetery.
Alan was born June 26, 1964 in Ripley and is the son of Rachel Cornelius Brady of Ripley and the late Charles Vance Brady. He was a graduate of Ripley High School and was employed with local companies that included Hankins, Inc. and the Benchcraft Corporation. A Christian, Alan was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding horses, fishing and hunting. Known in the community for his "green thumb", he had a passion for planting and growing tomatoes and was known for having at least 450 plants at a time.
In addition to his mother, memories will continue to be shared by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
