Amanda Joyce Gibbons Drown Hill, 78, resident of Ripley, passed away peacefully on January 21,2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

A graveside service with a prayer will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Tippah Memorial Gardens. In light of uncertain weather conditions, a memorial service celebrating Mrs. Hill’s life will be scheduled for a later date. The family deeply appreciates your continued prayers during this difficult time, trusting in the Lord’s comfort and strength to carry them through.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her beloved sister, Bobbye LaBarreare (Ed), her grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Those preceded in death include her parents, Rosman and Carrie Duncan Gibbons, her husbands, Albert John Drown and Leland Hill, a son, Ty Drown, sisters, Mildred Clark and Blanche McCarey, brothers, Terry Gibbons and Jerry Gibbons.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, any donations be forwarded to The American Cancer Society in Mrs. Hill's name.
