Annie Sue Jeter Stroupe

On Wednesday morning April 10, 2019, Annie Sue Jeter Stroupe 77, longtime resident of the Mitchell Community in Tippah County, passed away peacefully at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Stroupe will be at 1 PM Friday April 12 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with long time friend, Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Chapman Cemetery near Ripley.
  Mrs. Stroupe was born July 2, 1941 in Tippah County, MS, the daughter of the late George and Fannie Crawford Jeter. She attended Center School and was married August, 1961 to her beloved husband, Grady Franklin Stroupe, who survives.
  A Christian, Mrs. Stroupe was employed in the manufacturing industry that included Blue-Bell and Bilt-Rite in Ripley and in later years, Helen's Diner before her retirement.
  Mrs. Stroupe loved life, reading her Bible and was devoted to her family. She enjoyed "babysitting" and was an avid "Young and the Restless " television fan. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, canning vegetables, fishing and gospel music. Mrs. Stroupe leaves behind many cherished memories for her family and friends to remember for the years to come. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is rejoicing in her heavenly home.
  Visitation will continue Friday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by one sister, Mary Ruth Gattis (Charlie) of Ripley, two brothers, George "Bill" Jeter of Memphis and Charlie "Bud" Jeter (Fredna) of Horn Lake, two special nieces, Wanda Walker and Emily Morrison of Ripley and many relatives.
  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Robbins and Frances Lacy, three brothers, Fred, Roy and Jessie Lee Jeter.
