Ashley Marie Staten

On May 21, 2026, Ashley Marie Staten, 39, resident of Falkner, departed this life at her residence.

Born January 24, 1987, in Chicago, IL, Ashley was the daughter of the late Kenneth Alvin and Glinda Gail Smith Staten. She was a graduate of Cordova High School in Tennessee and earned an Associate Degree in Science and Health.

Ashley was a cheerleader with Memphis Elite and assisted the team with a National Championship. Her goal was to become a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. A true "girlie girl" with an outstanding personality, Ashley loved make-up, nails, styling hair and was involved in dance and pageants all through her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Christian Manns, Coby Staten and Ava Marie Edwards, a brother, Kevin Staten and her beloved fiancé, Nathan Edwards.
