Bro. Brandon was born May 23, 1947, in Bissell, MS, the son of the late Nolan and Nell Hester Brandon. A true family man, he was a faithful husband to his wife, a devoted father to his children and a loving grandfather to his seventeen grand and great grandchildren who he adored. Known as "piddler" and an excellent fisherman, Bro. Brandon enjoyed fishing and "grappling" with his grandsons.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, precious memories will continue to be shared by two daughters, Michelle Alexander (James) of Houlka, Kim Clayton (Billy Joe) of Hickory Flat, one son, Bobby Brandon, Jr. of Houlka, one brother, Delmer Brandon, seven grandchildren, Amanda Purdy, Keisha McCraw, Rachel Smith, Billy Clayton II, Bethany Slaton, Bryan Clayton and Logan Brandon and ten great grandchildren, Rylan McCraw, Finley McCraw, Maisie McCraw, Kallie Wilson, Addison Clayton, Bryleigh Clayton, Kensington Slaton, Natalie Slaton, Olivia Slaton and Kylie Brandon.
