Carey Edward Glover, 86, passed away peacefully December 29, 2023, at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Funeral Services honoring Mr. Glover's life will be 4 PM Monday January 1, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Robby Copeland officiating. Visitation will be 3 PM until Service Time on Monday January 1, 2023, at Ripley Funeral Home.
Mr. Glover was born January 28, 1937, in Brownfield to the late Elmo and Willodene Bennett Glover and was a graduate of Walnut High School and continued his education from Northeast Community College. He was a Department Manager with Baddour for thirty years until his retirement.
A Christan Mr. Glover's favorite pastimes included walking around First Monday and going to yard sales. He drove a hard bargain, was always on the lookout for a trade and never passed up a good deal. Mr. Glover lived a simple life and was a free-spirited soul who will surely be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memories include one daughter, Cheryl Forsythe (Phillip), one son, Bryan Glover (Jan), one sister, Nila Sexton, five grandchildren, Julia Moore (Tim), Samantha Wells (Josh), Shayna Copeland (Robby), Galen Forsythe (Kiley), and Brett Glover (Sarah), and nine great grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by his wife Willistine Henderson Glover.
