Cheryl Lewellen Holliday

On Friday, July 12, 2024, Cheryl Lewellen Holliday, 78, resident of Falkner, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home. Her request was to be cremated.

Mrs. Holliday was born April 12, 1946, in Tippah County, the daughter of the late Presley and Annie Lois Heavener Lewellen. She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a long-time sales associate of the jewelry department of Wal-Mart in Ripley for over 20 years. 

A Christian and private person, Mrs. Holliday enjoyed sitting on her back porch, walking and finding peace in nature. She adored her family and loved sharing every opportunity she could with them. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Memories will continue to be shared by three sons, Blaine Holliday (Claudia) of Tupelo, Johnny Holliday (Beverly) and Kelly Holliday, both of Falkner, one sister, Judith Windham of Ripley, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three on the way.

She is also preceded in death by her husband W.D. Holliday, Jr., and one brother, Gary Lewellen.
