Born January 11, 1940, Mr. Ray was the son of the late Mariom Orville and Daze Lee Paul Ray. He received his education in the Ashland Public School System and was married to his beloved wife, Mary Ann Brewer Ray for 47 years, before her passing on October 4, 2010.
