Debra Lee "Debbie" Anderson Simon

Debra "Debbie" Anderson Simon, 58, resident of the Walnut Community, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday morning March 6, 2019 at her residence.
  Funeral Services cherishing the life of Mrs. Simon will be at 11 AM Friday March 8 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with family friend, Chad Bateman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery near Walnut.
  Mrs. Simon was born August 25, 1960 in Memphis, TN and is the daughter of Ruth Benson Anderson of Falkner and the late John Thomas Anderson. She received her education in the Hawkins Mill Public School System in Memphis and was married for over 30 years to her much loved husband, Roy Arthur Simon, Jr. , a proud Vietnam Military Veteran who survives.
  A member of The Church of the Crossroads and devoted homemaker throughout her life, Mrs. Simon had been a resident of the Walnut area for the past 15 years. She will be remembered for the pleasure she received in working in her yard and growing flowers. She was an avid grocery store shopper who enjoyed both baking and cooking.
  Visitation will continue Friday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Memories will also be treasured by her daughters, Brandy Poindexter (Chad) of Corinth and Rhonda Jackson (John) of Falkner, two sons, Tommy Robertson (Shawna) of Selmer, TN and Jonathan Robertson of Walnut, two sister, Lisa Richerson (Anthony) and Rebecca Whitehead (Joe) both of Walnut eight grandchildren, Bella and Aiden Jackson, Tyler, Hunter, Elizabeth and Tristan Robertson, Hannah Osborn, Sean Gilmore and her loyal pet Shi-tzu , "Tasha Marie Simon".
  She was also preceded in death by a brother, John T. Anderson, Jr.
  The American Flag at The Ripley Funeral Home entrance honors Mrs. Simon's husband and all Veterans for their service to our country...GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
