On Thursday evening, February 11, 2021, Donna Quinn Brumley, 65, resident of Cotopaxi, Colorado and former resident of Tippah County, departed this life at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo following an extended illness.
Funeral Services remembering the life of Mrs. Brumley will be at 3 PM Monday, February 15 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brumley was born February 14, 1955 in Tippah County, the daughter of the late Thomas Cecil and Maxine Cheatwood Quinn. She was a 1973 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was employed as a seamstress in local manufacturing companies that included, Red Cap and Jumpertown Manufacturing Company.
A member of Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon city, CO, Mrs. Brumley loved reading her Bible daily and sharing quality time with her grandchildren. Traveling around the beautiful state of Colorado, genealogy and enjoying challenging games and puzzles were favorite pastimes.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 3 PM Monday, February 15 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Memories will be shared by her husband of 22 years, James Edgar Brumley, four daughters, Heather Parks (Jeffery) of Ripley, April Bowen (Allen) of New Albany, Angela Tackitt of Mooreville and Christie Berry (Brad) of Athens, AL, three sisters, Sherry Holbein (John) of Tiplersville, Carol Kane (Mark) of Earlville, NY and Clara Meyer (Martin) of Coco Beach, FL, nine grandchildren, Morgan Richardson (Tony), Courtland, Isabelle and Holly Parks, Libby and Daisy Bowen, Angel Wiseman (John), Aubrey Tackitt and Conner Berry and four great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, James Edward Christian III and a brother, Johnny Quinn.
