Elise M. Dunn

Elise M. Dunn, 82, lifetime resident of Tippah County, departed this life peacefully, Friday, October 27, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services honoring the life of Ms. Dunn will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 12 p.m. with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Shiloh Church Cemetery.

Ms. Dunn was born October 17, 1941, in Tippah County, to the late James and Dovie Arnold Brock.  She received her education from the Kossuth Public School System and was employed with Pep Industries for over 20 years.  

A Christian, family was an important part of Ms. Dunn's life.  Even though she had a sweet personality, she let you know where you stood with her without hesitation.  Her favorite past times included tending her flowers, watching her favorite t. v. shows, Adam 12, Andy Griffith and taking care of the many cats she adopted over the years.  Ms. Dunn will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sister, Doris Barkley of Tiplersville, two brothers, Danny Brock of Walnut and Harold Brock (Joyce) of Tiplersville, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Sue Jean Brock, Evelyn Brock, and Sandy Kay Brock, two brothers, James H. Brock, and James A. Brock.
